Den Ehrenring des Landes Steiermark überreichte Landeshauptmann Mag. Franz Voves an den langjährigen Bürgermeister von Graz, Alfred Stingl. Stingl hätte die außergewöhnliche Fähigkeit, Brücken zu bauen und Gräben zu überwinden, so der steirische Landeshauptmann.
