3. Digital submissions
You can also contact us by electronic means (e-mail, fax or online form), but please note the technical requirements. Any matters submitted by electronic means outside our office hours will only be received and processed when our office staff resume work again. This means that the submission will be deemed to have been submitted and received only at that time.

The responsibilities and fields of activity of Department 12 are diverse and wide-ranging. Across four locations, 67 employees are dedicated every day to providing citizen-focused public administration with a strong commitment to service.
The Economic Affairs and Innovation Unit is located at Nikolaiplatz, while the Tourism Unit is based on Radetzkystraße. Nearby are the Science and Research Unit, which was integrated into the department in 2022 (Zimmerplatzgasse), and the newly established Holdings, Budget Management and Project Evaluation Unit. Together with the Department Head and the Staff Unit for Internal Services, Human Resources and Organisation, it is located on Friedrichgasse.
All organisational units see themselves as information platforms, coordination hubs, and service offices, providing professional public administration for the people of Styria.
